Frequently Asked Questions

How do I connect my Zoom account?

After signing in, go to Settings and click "Connect Zoom". You'll be redirected to Zoom to authorize access. Once connected, you can view your meetings on the Sessions page.

My Sessions page is empty even though I have Zoom recordings

Sessions only appear for recordings that include a transcript file. If your recordings show up in Zoom but not in Re-presence, check these common causes:

  • Zoom connection went stale. Go to Settings, click "Disconnect" next to Zoom, then click "Connect Zoom" again. This refreshes the link between Re-presence and your Zoom account.
  • Audio transcription is not enabled in Zoom. In your Zoom web settings under Recording, make sure "Audio transcript" is turned on. Without this, Zoom records video and audio but does not generate the transcript file that Re-presence needs.
  • The transcript is still processing. Zoom can take several minutes after a meeting ends to generate the transcript. Try refreshing the Sessions page after a few minutes.

Is my session content stored?

No. Re-presence is built with privacy at its core. Your transcripts are processed in real-time and delivered to your email immediately. We don't store your session content on our servers.

How do I disconnect my Zoom account?

Go to Settings and click "Disconnect" next to your Zoom connection. This will remove our access to your Zoom account.

What is Automatic Presents?

Automatic Presents lets Re-presence create Presents for your new sessions without any manual steps. Enable it in Settings — you'll need your Zoom account connected and a default template selected. You can also turn on failure notifications to get emailed if something goes wrong.

Can I customize the format of my Presents?

Yes! Go to Templates to create custom templates with your own instructions. You can define how your Presents should be structured based on your methodology.
